Dragon Quest 8

How about Dragon Quest 8 which is released by Square Enix? As we know Dragon Quest series had a very long storyline. Eventhough DQ 1 - DQ 7 had a very bad graphics, the series always on top in the chart. Why? Because the series of DQ always served a very good storyline. With an improvement of graphics that we looked in the DQ 8, i'm sure it will become the best RPG in the first quarter of 2006....
It's a new feature in DQ8. You can use an alchemy pot. You will obtain the Alchemy Pot in the middle of the game by following the main quest. With an alchemy pot, You can use more than hundred different receipes to make an ultimate item.
Is there anyone had a lists of alchemy pot receipe?

there are 3 or 2 levels of alchemy pots.
lvl 2 allows you to mix up to 3 items
lvl 3 allows you to combine almost instantly

Hey one the main character (Jessica) changed her appearance when i changed her outfit..va va voom!

The hero also changes his appearance... but that's after a major spoiler. By the way, this is an excellent game but hard to play it through a second time.

that's a slap in the face for Dragonquest fan...lol

i've played dragonquest Viii, beat it and beat dragovian trial too. its a pretty fun game, only thing that really frustrating is the lack of ability to do shit in the beginning, ur life so dependable on 1 character its not even funny.
at first, only person who can revive is angelo.....so if he dies, gotta go all the way back to the church.....(no revive item at this point yet)....and jessica tends to die since her HP is TINY! .....zing is annoying of its 50% chance. but the game proves easy once u get far enough where to get a good amount of skills and magic--and it'll get funner and funner. omniheal, multiheal, zinging is awesome ^O^

I've finished this game last year...yeah this game is really good, I like the easy battle system and the sidequest...at first I've screw up my character skill upgrade, but later I found out that it doesn't matter since at lvl 99, we can max at least 3 major skill...(but of coure reaching lvl 99 is almost ridiculous...
Maxing hero's Courage and Sword really make him almost invincible even at dravonian trial...he has gigaslash, 1/2 mp, and much more...

The most important thing of the Dragon Quest (and all the series) is the long and attractive story. When i played this game, sometimes i think the game was nearly end, but i was wrong.. That was just the beginning of the game!!

What's make DQ series great?
- DQ was the first game adapted the first job system in the character stat improvement.. even before FFs adapted the system!
- DQ was the only one game which is success eventhough the game adapted from manga.
