Personally I have high hopes for 5. Considering how they took everything that was good from previous REs and kept it in 4, and just got rid of the bad (fixed camera angles and the like), I see nothing but good for the next one.
I bag to differ, I think fixed camera angles in lets say, the remake of RE on the gamecube made RE much more surprising and scary. Where as in RE 4 the wide angle and the lack of any suspense made the game unlike any other RE game in that you weren't really scared of anything you were just overwhelmed with granado's.

When I played the remake of RE on the Gamecube I was, at points in the game, really surprised and scared for split seconds. In RE 4 I never felt scared at anytime and really was never surprised by anything.

However, I'm glad to see Chris back, cause I hate Leon. I am also glad that zombies are back. Lets just hope the old type writter systems of saves is back instead of that whole check point saving system in RE 4.

you're way out man. no one will buy at that price. it'll be usseles to put such a high price for that machine. if the ps3 costs 400, in argentina will be like...700 dollars. so.........expect 1700 pesos. anyway, there going to have to chip it, blue-ray is not even open for public so copies won't be so easy to find, and there's a time line for THE games (i mean re5, mgs4, dvm4...etc). you won't be getting it any time soon. 1 or 2 years for sure. and...well, the internet connection is another issue...since the best connection down there is 2.5 mb.....downloading a 27 gb game with that speed is going to be a bitch.
most of argentina is not ready for it. BUT it will be cheaper than 3000.
but if sony wants the ps2 to be the 'revolution' or 'nintendo go/5' killer....then that's a score for argentina. time will tell.
oh...and...i freakin hope that re5 is going to have at least two characters. chris and jill, hank(was it hank? hunk?masked dude.). and please let it not be a rescuing mission. the more, the merrier.

Resident Evil 5 is on my list of 'Games I want to play before I die'

I thoroughly enjoyed RE 4 a great deal. Resident Evil 5 is one of those games that has the potential to be great beyond words. Or it could suck. I am hoping for the former.

Ps2 already costs 400 dollars here (1200 pesos), but talking about games is easier to get than the originals. talking serious, I don't a know a place that sells originals.
So PS3 will be very expensive. And if you could afford it, you would have to buy the chip... IMPOSSIBLE!

Are you from Argentina?...i know how much costs the things here...and the people are saying that the PS3 is going to cost 3000 pesos...i bought my PS2 at 1200 pesos...(the big one..with the Pro marsh chip...without games...memory card and with one joistick)...most of the argentinian salesmans are robbers...i know them...(I'm from argentina i live here) they're all the same !!!
PS: THE X-BOX COSTS 1500 PESOS AND THE NINTENDO GAMECUBE COSTS 1000 PESOS...I hate Argentina...
