Thread: Why do most anime based games suck?

I haven't played a good game based off an anime anyone know any good ones? Every one I've played sucked why do they suck? It makes me sad :'(

btw the anime based games I've played are

The 1st Full metal alchemist game
One piece grand battle
The naruto fighting game (can't remember the name)
the Gungrave games

initial d and naruto games for ps2 rock

I've never played any of them and I intend to keep it that way. D:

Most games based on a licesne suck, not just the anime ones.

Why do movies based off books suck (LotR + HP exempted)? The transference from one medium to another is fraught with peril.

I don't ever recall playing a game based on something else... I guess I've always assumed they'll stink... o.O

I've watched anime based on games, though. XD

Gungrave anime came way after the games.

Don't forget the first two DBZ Budikai's and the "RPG's" for the GBA
The YYH games, all of them. GundamL JtoJ and Zeonic front were bad as well but Fed vs Zeon, EiS, and Gundam vs Zeta were good games

I'd like to try a onepiece game some day..
I've never really played any anime based games.
Unless you count pokemon that is :/

the Naruto games are supposed to be good... there are a couple great anime games out there (POKEMON) ...
