Thread: Why do most anime based games suck?

i've played many animebased BAD games. I think the producers think: Do we have to make a good game? No, when the anime was good, people will buy it anyway.
And they do.

maybe...you're right...but not of all the anime games sucks...the shaman King for PS one is great..and the Dimon World 1 is excellent...don't forget the Digimon Rumble Arena 2.

yeah. One Piece to gba was quite good. And some narutogames. But Bleach to gba for example: Rubbish.

The way to make a good anime based game is to not make a fighting game off it but a tactical rpg. I can't count how many animes (especially Gantz) where I would like to command the characters and use their cool attacks to tactically eliminate oppenents... Or I could just be happy with Disgaea...
