::Has been gaming for 16 years::

Hmm a Anime game I did enjoy or a few.

Yu-Gi-Oh, a rpg style one I forget the name for GBA, it was actually fun.

For the SNES The DBZ RPG, and the Third DBZ Fighting game for the SNES

I did enjoy the Hunter X Hunter RPG a bit for the GBA, but I'll have to teach myself both kanji and hiragana/katakana before I start another character on that game =P

There are probably 2 or 3 other anime games I actually enjoyed including a gundam fighting game for the SNES. For Recent generation anime related games, I haven't really played any great ones yet. not great but there are a few good ones, i just don't remember "good" games I only remember "Incredible" and "great" games =/

Hmmmm well if ur into Turn Base Strategy games..... there is the "Super Robot Wars" Series..... u could find them for snes, ps1, ps2, gb, and gba... there might b ones of their series from more systems but those are the ones i kno of... then also SD Gundam G Generation series.... seen those for ps1, ps2, and one of them game boys... dont remember if it was just GB or the GBA... any how they are all in japanese.... but the system can b rather simple to learn.

I'm thinking it was the 2005 game, if it was, i'd have to agree.
Especially when you've defeated everyone enough times to unlock no limit mode.
    then the fun really begins.

If anyone has a ds THEY REALLY need to import jump super stars, OMGOSH
    such a great game.

yeah jump superstars is good i just dont like the control interface but its still a good game.

a good anime base fighting game is fist of the northstar. ive seen some of the combo videos for it and its nuts. its based on the guilty gear engine with instant kills an all...and you can combo into them. im really excited about it. an arcade near my house is supposed to be getting it.

but i understand the need for this thread and im wondering why there isnt a great one piece fighting game.

Even though I haven't played many anime games, I must admit that Sailormoon AnotherStory did a very good job of recreating the feel of the anime.. It also had a kooky storyline that can be inserted into the series.. I love how they tried to add more manga elements in it myself...

I've never played the SuperS game for PS, but that's because I haven't had the want to get an emulation and translate everything.. XP From what I've seen of the Naruto GCN fighting game, it looks pretty cool, but the English voices annoy me.. >_< I've completely stopped watching anime on TV, cause most of the voices are sooo wrong for the characters..

the 4 player battle royal of YuYu hakusho in the Genesis was pretty good, as well as the SNES YYH Final.

decent DBZ i found was in the GBA named DBZ: Supersonic Warriors/Bukuu Tougeki as well as DBZ: Sparking/Budokai Tenkaichi in the PS2, the fighting is well made and somehow manage to give the feel of the DBZ style fighting, too bad theres no transformation as well as more move variations.

Apparently, Naruto games are among the most wanted for Nintendo systems. o.o

    (Yes, I read Nintendo Power.)

As are Dragon Ball Z games. Are they wanted because they're from an anime? I heard a lot of the previous ones weren't so good... why are they still desired?!
