I saw that film a couple of years ago - there is a blatent Tekken influence, but I'd wager that it has nothing to do with the games themselves. It was an alright brainless action film.

hworang sucks anyway, hes just another eddy, a char for newbs cuz all of his combos are easy, oh hell you don't even need to learn combos to be goog with hworang just randomly press X and O, and you will be able to beat the game on Hard with no problems what so ever. Jin is the shit, specially for me cuz im a die hard Tekken 3 fan, yeah Tekken 5 im looking at you, fuck you Tekken 5!

Did hwoarang even use kicks in that clip?? In the game 90% of his combos are kick combos. Yeah it was pretty lame...

hell yeah jin has some of the most awesome moves (devil jin is cool too) and kazuya aint half bad either

Correction Hworang is one of the hardest character to learn real combos. The so called combos your mentioning where you press xxxxxxxx or ooooooooo those aren't combos not to a player like me. Combos to me are air juggles and such, and Hworang is one of the hardest while it was mentioned somewhere before that Jin is one of the easiest character to learn to play with. But I'm taking in to consideration that your talking about Tekken 3 and not above.
