isn't final fantasy still selling? it's even for pc. so play it again. the point here is not letting it die, it's just that if square is going to put shame to the name by doing this kind of bs, then better to let it die.

And by saying that your shows how grateful you really are towards square.

Square is trying something new and if that's so much of a bad idea then what the hell is the point of video games. Seriously think before posting and insult a good gaming company which brought us many good games.

really, don't tell me this game couldn't have been a LOT better. for me, square went to hell by joining with enix. i don't like any of the games released for ps2, but even so, if this game sells big, is because the "final fantasy VII" in the title. you can't deny that.
besides, i'm not saying that they shouldn't do anything new or explore new ground. but things you would fix in the game stick out by just watching the gameplay.
and..."squaresoft" brought us many good games. not "square-enix". and i'm cursing the last one.

Oh god, you did not just go there, here's the ignorance again.

Square merging with Enix did nothing to affect Squares games. Fact is, even if SS didn't merge with Enix they still would be pumping out low quality games it was a matter of time, not a matter of companies. Enix has (little to)nothing to do with Square when it comes to game development.

Enix has nothing to do with Square when it comes to game development.
Enix has nothing to do with Square when it comes to game development.
Enix has nothing to do with Square when it comes to game development.
Enix has nothing to do with Square when it comes to game development.

Read it, Enix developers DON'T bust into the sections of Squares teams and go "HAYGUYZ THIS IS WAT WERE GONA DOLOL".

Likewise, Square's developers didn't go to Enix's teams and go "SO THIS IS WAT UR DOING LOL. UR DOING IT WRONG HERE LETS CHANGE IT".

There would be little to no influence from either team when it comes to making games, if Enix was short staffed on music for example Square might send someone to help them and vice-versa. I hate when people say that Squaresoft were gods when they've made quite a few bad games before the merger. Likewise Enix has made bad games, but also incredible games before the merger. So do I go on to blame Square for Enix making SO3's story and character development so shit? I don't, but I bet someone would say that Enix alone did that and Square had nothing to do with it.

Eh, it's the Compilation. They have alot of people having their own stories.

    Cloud's, Tifa's, Zack's, and Sephiroth's = Last Order. (23 minute anime)

Aerith's = The Madien who Travels the World (I think that's the name... It's a short story of about 3+ chapters)

The Turks = Before Crisis (game)

Advent Children is the direct movie sequel.

On the Way to a Smile would be what happened during the time between seven and AC. (Another story. I've only read Denzel's part.)

And Vincent's would be Dirge of Cerberus.

Oh, and there's something called 'Crisis Core'... I don't know what it is, though.

no, sorry. i'm cursing square-enix. not the last one as in "enix" alone. it's square-enix that made this game. if that wasn't anoying you...meh. the hole fusion was crap for me. of course enix did awesome games. both companies did, before the fusion that is. one would expect that joining two companies (wiht titles such as ff, star ocean, dragon quest/warrior, etc.) could be a fucking blessing. surprise for me (and others), it wasn't.

still, i dont' think its the way you say elcura. i mean, it's one company, right?. not two sharing things. sure there are teams, but for each title, not each company.
if now or in the future i'm wrong, correct me, don't to call me ignorant. if it is the way you say (pardon me for being wrong) then the square team did a horrible job.

and the crisis core thing, that's the fouth in the ff compilation. it'll be for psp, and it seems the main character will be zack.

It wasn't just you, it was to anyone who thinks that way, you just happened to be the first person to mention it, Karghul said it as well, it's plain stupid to curse Enix for Squares failing, it just shows how much of a Square fanboy you can be if you can't see the fault in this company. I apologize to you Seuse in any case.

It's one company by name and possibly budget too, but they don't get a new building and move in together, they both have their own studios, like I said before, if one team happens to be short staffed for whatever reason the other team would help out. Enix will have little to do with a game development with Square's games and vice versa. However, having a team for seperate titles does seem plausible if somewhat unlikely to me and even if they did mix the 2 teams for a title, ultimately the director has the final say on what goes on, if you want to blame anyone, blame the shitty director who made it, and possibly the company exec (or whoever does it) that hired him.
