That's when you realise you're an anime/manga addict.

They cost a pretty penny, you must import them, they're not even that good most of the time....

And yet you buy them.... :(

you could just buy those games and a japanese ps2 from an japanese site which ships to other countries, it would be alot cheaper.


but anyway I want to play Namco X Capcom, I was like wtf but it says that its an Strategy RPG.

and the Berserk game too :)

So do I but when some of them stuffs up, the experience is painful. Eg, my Hajime no Ippo 2 : Victorious road... ohhh I so want to fight Sendo :smt013

the problem with these game is that they are made for anime/manga fans who want to ..hmm...integrate themselves into the storyline, perse..
but the problem is, if you don't read Japanese fluently, these games instantly turn into crap. Also, you'd never find the FAQs to the games..

So yeah..don't buy unless you are fluent in Japanese, and buy from Japanese site as someone suggested. It'd be likely to be cheaper that way.

Not true. Most of the Games based on Shounen (ex: Bleach or Naruto) are fighting games. You don't need to know anything in japanese to enjoy them most of the time. Only the menu can be a little problematic, and then, there are FAQ easily found for that.

I have played Naruto : Gekkitou Ninja Teisen 3 and 4, and I don't think the language was a barrier. In fact, it was better to get the voices you are used to since you watch the fansubs.

Ranma 1/2 for PSX is $60.00??? That game is utter garbage. I'm glad I got my copy for free.
And Love and Destroy stumped the hell out of me. Too Kanji intensive.

And whoa, they made a Nadia PS2 game? That series isn't exactly new and I remember playing one of the games on the Mega Drive/Genesis.

I've always wanted to play the victorious boxer series but have never gotten around to it. I've only heard good things about it and Hajime no Ippo: Allstars.
