Thread: OBLIVION !!! (TES4)

it's supposed to be out on march 24 where i live, but is the american version out ???

if so, what do you think of it ??? ^^

i'll post more question if it is out, because if it's not, this thread will have to wait 2 months to awake anew

Did Bethesda announce March 24? Unless they did, I wouldn't hold my breath. But Bethesda has shitty PR.

i don't know, but i can precommand it on amazon.fr for march 24...

it seems it will be on march 24 for the usa and maybe uk, but will take even longer to localize for non-english speaking countries
and if it's not push away.... again....

Cant wait, must be awesome (they did morrowind right? [the company] so I guess it will be as great game).

yep, they did morrowind ^^... oblivion takes place in the same world, but not in morrowind which was just a province of the empire...
the release was for november but has been pushed away to optimize the engine and correct some bugs (looking at morrowind, that's a wise idea ^^)
at least officially..

i'm asking myself if i should buy the american version too.... it's cheaper, with less bugs, and is out first... but it's in english.... lol >.>

anyway i'll have to buy a brand new pc

Don't expect anything though. It could get pushed back again. I'm hoping it won't, but I won't be surprised.

Anyone what the first two games were? I'm getting Morrowind but I'd like to play the first two as well for a better idea of the story.

there are no chronological continuity between them... they just take place in the same world, and thus share some history ^^ .... caius cosades is supposed to be in oblivion too by example (he was our old master in morrowind)

i've only played to battlespire beside morrowind.... and i wouldn't play it again now... really -_-

Oh just be sure you get the goty version of morrowind
(IMO the older games werent THAT bad, you waste time on games anyway )
