I have two new games for Christmas and what do I do?

Pull out the old N64 and play Majora's Mask.

Which I've had for about four years and haven't played for nearly as long.

Maybe it's in the spirit of waiting for Twilight Princess to come out, since I didn't get any Zelda games (except Wind Waker, which I gave up on after a few minutes when Bomb Basketball on Birdy Island got tough) after MM.

*Sigh*

I think they did a great job on that game, though. I've been playing for three days straight.

Oh, those old classics. I've got DK64, Ocarina of Time, and FFVIII (for PlayStation) lined up to play next.

Has anyone else ever done this? Gotten out a really old game and played just for the hell of it? (Oh, and Pokemon. Two more, damnit! Just two more and I could finally beat Yellow for good!)

yea dude,, just the other day, i re-opened my luv for n64 by mucking around on mario kart.. thats the real shits rite ther... im just disapointed mk:dd and how they voiced the new toad :S sounds gay

I like the GC Mario Kart; I never got any of the others, though. The SNES one was good.

That was definitely one of the best systems. Many of the All-time GREAT games were for the SNES. *Sigh* I've looked for one everywhere, even tried to buy one off my cousins..

You should play the DS versino of mario cart, it feels so damn familiar...they have a tournament called "retro tournament" and every thing map is from the n64. I still have the mario kart game heh..

i personally thought that game in general was easier than Orcarina...

(i havent even beat dodongo cavern, yet i've beat Wind Waker twice...)

I really want Ogre Battle 64! I've looked everywhere for that, too... I love strategy games, but I rarely get to play them. Fire Emblem sounds kinda similar though - the new GC one...

I plan to get Mario Kart DS. Future Shop sells it with the DS as a bundle, so whenever I make that extra seventy or eighty dollars on top of Christmas money, that's my first destination!

The SNES version was still one of my favourites, though. That is a MAJOR classic.

Easier than Ocarina? Maybe. I didn't do a lot of boss-battling in that game - in fact, I didn't play all that much. It's more that I get stuck in small areas (like the Sword and Shield dungeon in Seasons - I can't cross a fireball chasm or whatever because it's hard) so I don't continue. I should really try, though.

Dodongo Cavern is not hard. The bosses of Jabu-Jabu's belly ARE.

I think they might be harder than Gyorg from MM. Then again, my friend beat the Jabu-Jabu bosses for me, and Gyorg killed me today (though I WILL try again tomorrow!), so I can't be sure.

i pay the ocarina o time so often that I even know what the all the people say in a conversation! and i'm playing so often on my Snes that the poor thing is breaking down and i have to buy i new one soon.

haha.. i always wanted to try out mk for the ds.. my friend had it and it looked addictive since u can like play wid others.. but he kinda sucked cuz he kept losing.. lol
