Thread: Warcraft DotA Allstar

My favourite 3 from each side goes as such

Scourge
Phantom Assasin
Terrorblade
and Chaos Knight before they changed Chaos Bolt around. Chaos Bolt is a bit better now in terms of stun, but seriously, 1-200 damage, 1 damage is NO use at all, and what happens if you get a crap damage + 1 second stun :S

Sentinel
Pandaren Brewmaster
Ogre Magi
then probably Antimage

As you can see, I prefer my melee heroes. Not too fond of int heroes, as I'm usually not aggressive enough early game with them, and then end up paying for that late game when the agil and str heroes on the enemy come around and slap the shit outta me.

for sentinels..

my favorites are kerdel sharpeye (dwarven sniper) and lina inverse (summon slayer)

for scourge..

Razor (lightning ravenant)

and Anub'seran (Nerubian Weaver)

I'm not too fond of the Weaver. I just had a game, where I was only doing average with him, even when the opponents didn't have any hardcore nukers. The Morphling was a problem. I think, any character with a decent nuke can probably beat him, or a wave-type/aoe nuke. Because, that's half of his health already gone.
He's good, but if the enemy has a good nuke he aint gonna last because of his low base damage.

What are your thoughts on the new heroes? So far I've only really played the Twin-Headed Dragon. With the Beastmaster didn't even get to level 4 before the game ended due to leavers. The Twin-Headed dragon seems a bit overpowered, and the freeze line thing seems very... crap, it's so hard to get off, and not very useful until about level 3. His other skills are great. He's like an intelligence hero that's supposed to be played like a ranged agil hero. Skadi looks like a really good option on him, or Euls so you can get your nuke off.
My oppinions could be wrong, as I've only had one game with him so far, and it was a bit one-sided on my side. I guess I should reserve my oppinion until I've had a better chance to use him.

Just tried the Beastmaster out. He's cool. I liked his axe-throwing skill, as well as his ulti. Axe-throwing is good for farming. I find the beast summoning skill quite useless(lol and to think he's a beastmaster). I believe that skill should be more powerful(perhaps his most powerful one except for the ulti), something like the Lone Druid's Spirit Bear summon. 3rd skill, just good.

From what I saw, the beast summoning skill was pretty useful. The bird is just a scout, but it has truesight I think when it becomes 'greater'. The quillboar slows them down, which is pretty good.
I haven't had a chance to really try him out yet, so that is my oppinion from seeing someone else use him.

Oh, it's nothing special. 6.30b is the same as the 6.20 series, just with 3 new heroes. That's all.

In the newest version the greater hawk has lost his truesight.
And the quilboar's slow ability isn't THAT good...
