Thread: What ps2 games do you guys recommend?

Shadow Hearts 1, 2 and 3 (will be coming out soon)
Xenosaga 1 and 2
Dark Cloud 1 and 2

In Devil May Cry 3 Special youre able to play Dantes brother Vergil.

If you like tactical RPGs I would recommend Disgaea and La pucelle: Tactics (Phantom Brave wasn´t THAAT good, but its still a good game.)

I tihnk in the SE of DMC3 there are also 2 other styles. But i could be wrong about that one.

Suikoden III is liked by alot of people, but others hate it. Don't confuse it with IV, cause IV was just sad. But heres a little about it. There are 3 main characters. You start out and you pick who you want to start to play as. After that part of the story ends you pick someone else or the same person. It goes like that for about 3 chapters each(??) and than they meet up. Something alone those lines. The battles are a little wierd. There are 6 people on ur side during each fight but its only 3 people with a support for each. So you control 3. You can do combo's and such. But ya, thats a little summary, how accuracte it is I do not know. If i made any mistakes, sorry.

Disgaea = amazing. The story is very dark and funny.


Xenogears is about 2000 years away in the story of Xenosaga. There was a planned 6 games for Xenosaga, one of them was suppose to be a remake of Xenogears. Alot of that has changed though.

if u can get ur hand on a japanese game, try narutimate 2 3 4(not out yet). they are really fun. there arent that many moves compare to tekken or soul calibre. but sure is very fun and strategically challenging (vs. other player)

you can try grand theft auto san andreas...

Thanks for sugggestion, ppl. Back from holiday and brought with me a whole bunch of games. Unfortunately, most of the games I ended up buying didn't come from this list since I couln't find them on the shelves. If you asked the seller there using the english names, they'll just give you this blank stare.

From the list, I managed to get: Kingdom hearts 2, Onimusha 3, Dragon Quest 8, Prince of persia 3, shadow of the colossus, biohazard 4 and phantom brave.

Gitaroo Man, if you find it, buy it. Defintely one of, if not the best rythm game ever made.
