Thread: PSP or IPOD 5g

Well.. for christmas, i have a choice of either getting a PSP or IPOD 5g. and i confused about which one i should get. The ipod is cheaper and that means, that i can also get a flat screen monitor for my comp.
Here are some pros and cons (add any if you feel):

PSP:
Plays games
Plays music
watch movies
Future possibilities of add-ons
Cons:
It's massive
Heavier then a DS

5g:
Plays sum Linux games
Plays music
pretty much an upgraded version of nano
watch movies
Bigger screen then other ipods to watch movies on
veri thin and sleek
Takes pictures
Cons:
Slightly bigger then first ipod

By the time you manage to listen to 5gigs of music, you will have had thousands of chances to change the music on your PSP (assuming you have a decent sized memory stick, I got the giga pack, 1gig is more than enough for me), sure you can carry all your music with you and never have to change it, but after that there is not much else you a
can do with an iPod. My advice, get the PSP.

The games are bad.
Watch movies on that amazingly small screen? Good luck. I also heard that big files take a long time to load:

The PSP is actually pretty slim, but long.

I say that if you can barely afford a PSP, just give up. If you really want to enjoy it, you need to spend on UMD games, UMD movies, at least a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, screen protectors, a case, etc.

yea i spose.. but i also wanted a flat screen monitor.. so wid the limited amount of money.. im leaning towards the ipod. Yea tru PSP you need to spend heaps on.. cuz of the games and add-on features.. but meh.. i still haf a month to figure out wat i want

psp only has a limited amount of good games. most of them just suck. and people only buy movies for traveling purposes, i really dont have the time to travel much so i just use the movies to watch in the back of my classroom lol.

whats wrong with the DS touch is good

beside advance war I don't really like any other game on the ds. And you don't even need to use the pen thingy in that game.

theres a bunch of good titles and u never know till u try it
