I've gotta say, I'm really dissapointed in modern games. Lately I've been longing for a SNES or Genesis revival, so until my fantasies come true, this thread will ease the pain of those of you out there who still remember when 32 bits was high tech.
My favorite olddy games are:
1. Zombies ate my Neighbors
2. Altered Beast
3. Aladdin (Dunno why this game was so fun!)
4. Megaman/Rockman (New stuff is moderately good too)
5. Splatterhouse
you need a couple more choice in your poll monkeyman . I would vote for something like "good gameplay= good game" or "good story with compelling characters = good game". i dont feel like i can vote for any of the choices you have now.

I added a few more options cause I was originally only planning on having Old games and new games as the choices, but after hearing what you had to say, I realized that it wold be better to have a number of options, cause some people are mildly indecisive. Thanks for the advice! By the way, I was wondering how you got your cool avatar. I don't really know how to ad pics to my SN, but I'm not too concerned about it.... thanks for the help.

Is avatar your sig? just copy and paste a pic's address in your profile between[img] and [/img]. it has to be a pic off the web (not your comp) and if [/img] doesnt work try [\img]. i cant remember. did we both vote for the same thing? haha, great mindds think alike!

Woo old school games all the way.. old school harvest moon, old school mario, zelda, all those bloody classics on the old nintendo system *drools*... now how do i get a hold of those games again?
OoO wait.. the Revolution will be the answer, ill just download the games off there..
Well, actually, you can get every single SNES and Genesis game online. Just google "ROMs" or SNES, and some good stuff should come up. I have a feeling this poll is going to be very one-sided, considering the only people who check this forum will be people who already like classic games....
revolution is gonna be so badass. people seem to hate that controller, but i hear its getting really good feedback from people who use it. its supposed to have motion sensors on it. so say youre playin the old nes golf game. you can hold the controller like a club, swing it, and the ball will take off. thats just one example. i think thats where they got the name. its supposed to "revolutionize" the way you play those old games. :-# ok, sorry, im just pysched for the rev!!!! :rolleyes: :supz: \:D/
I'm mostly excited about Super Smash Bros. 3 for the Revolution. I have to admit, tho'..... Nintendo is truly a dieing franchise. They need to get their act together and give the world another Super Mario 64 :-D
