    Default Best Action Game

    whats the best action game NOT FIRST PERSON SHOOTER... i mean beat em ups 3rd person shooters platformers etc

    i say the best action game is by FAR Resident Evil 4 i think the best beat em up ... is i dunno... i dont like beat em ups and the best platformer is of course Super Mario World (in fact the entire series)... never did find Soda Lake tho .. dammit

    please refrain from mentioning specfic games unless its a totally new direction for the series for esample resident evil 4 is a new direction cuz its over the shoulder unlike the other REs but dont say Metal Slug 4 cuz all the metal slugs were the same style say instead the MS series ... get my drift??

    i know everyones gonna vote the Metroid series and Metal Gear Solid and wat not...

    There's so many. Resident evil 4 of course. Than yes, Metroids. AND I've always been a Fan of the SNES Donkey Kongs, along with Mario. And yeah, I don't play beat 'em ups... Unless you count SSBs games... in which case... SSBM Wins...

    Yeah, definitely Devil May Cry 3 and Onimusha 3 for stylish action

    RE4 and Killer 7 for action thriller

    Dynasty Warriors 5 for massive beat em ups

    And Metal Gear series and Splinter Cell 3 for stealth action

    But the title for craziest in your face action title of the year would have to go to God of War. You have to see it to believe it. Has one of the best endings you'll ever see

    I've got all these games and 30 others and I've only managed to clock up 2 hours only on each. Only managed to finsh 5 or so. Haven't had time to play the rest
    Good thing the holidays are coming up so I can get a break from work and get my money's worth

    Yeah the Metal Gear series is teh shiet.

    Also Onimusha as Char said, was very good

    lol... i havent finished it cuzza school but those mega parasites that you need the Infrared scope to shoot and kill the 5 parasited in em are soo scary...
