Good western games? rpg dough

What good games have been made by a western company that are good RPG's. I can't really tell on some games when they lean towards a more american style if they're american or not. Wild Arms on the ps2 is one game i can't tell if its western or not, but most likely im assuming its not.

So what RPG's are western? I know about....

Youve got it right, Wildarms has been made by a japanese developer.

I only know of Knights of the old republic made by Bioware or other games made by Bioware and Blizzard.

Hell, I'd say Deus Ex, but that game defies classification.

If you mean "traditional" RPG, check out Anachronox.

As it happens, both of these games were made by Ion Storm. No, not the part of Ion storm that wasted all their funds on Daikatana. The successful part.

Haha god bless Ion Storm. I LOVED Deus Ex. And Anachronox was great as well.

if the main character has facial hair, or at least a stubble, it is an American rpg.
