there isnt much difference between a crack server and a normal server the only problem you should encounter is the number of crack servers (there arent many)which is some times pretty frustrating but its a small price(my opinion) for a huge 59.99$

im dl it... i wonder if my PC is up to it (80 gig hd, 1 gig ram 3.6 mhz processor... no idea wat my video card is)

While waiting, I downloaded the game.
F.E.A.R is technically amazing. The shooting experience is somewhat never seen before. It feels like playing Halo on Legendary: The enemies are intelligent and they know how to flank you from everywhere.
There are some damn creepy moments and the action never lets you down.
I play it at 1152x864 and every graphic detail maxed out. The game looks simply amazing.

I've been anticipating this purchase for weeks and I finally got a chance to go buy it.

You were right. It's fucking incredible. I couldn't run it on my computer, so I ran it on my brother's, but he's going back to austin in about 3 hours. I've played it continuously for a long, long LONG time and now the thing froze in the middle of saving.

But god, they're so intelligent! Fuck scripted sequences! The AI just KNOWS. And these enemies, they're so well designed. When I came across the first one of those heavy armored fellows with the impaling gun, I freaked out, it was brilliant. The double doors just explode open and he walks through and I say out loud, "What the fuck is tha" and then bam, he's firing rounds at me like mad and I start hurling my grenades like crazy. Thank god they explode on impact and they stun him.

And now I've fought those stealth fellows and holy christ, just seeing one appear in front of you, clinging to the ceiling, and jumping down at you to palm you in the face, it's enough to make you lose your mind.

And those DREAM sequences. Oh god, so vivid. I saw a picture once, like a year ago, when I first looked this game up... and I said, this has GOT to be some cg pic they made just for a stupid magazine.... IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE THAT. Jesus christ. I envy you jyuu, for having a computer that can run this, but I'll just have to go down there and play on christmas, in my bro's apartment.

This game rocks. As stated before, the enemies in this game are actually a bit like real people. They talk to eachother and you can hear what they say and take advantage of it .

Also, as for the guy who complained about the weapons, what a load of shit. The 10mm High Velocity Penetrator is the best weapon I've seen in a shooter for a long time. As for the shotgun, well, I think images say a lot more than words.



Oh, forgot to mention that this game has one of the best endings, kinda reminded me of Metal Gear..

I got my new video cards and it's time to fully use them.

My brother is gone now, so I have to wait till christmas to finish the game. But I gave it to him so he can play it for now.

I miss it already.

I want to play it on maximum settings goddamnit. And that means new computer.
