Thread: Castlevania: Harmony of Despair

Has anyone here bought/played this game? I bought it a few days ago, and I'm hooked!

It's nothing like a regular Castlevania game, but it's something that hardcore Castlevania fans will love. There's no "metroidvania" style gameplay and no levelling up, but what it does offer is a simple but fun, challenging 6-player co-op experience.

It might seem hard at first (and there's an even HARDER mode after you beat all 6 levels), but even if you fail many times to beat a level, the game will constantly reward you with slightly better items until you're strong enough to beat it.

It only scored a 7.5 on IGN, but that doesn't mean it's not good, it's just not for everyone. It's aimed at a niche audience, but I'm sure there's more than a few of you here that qualify.
