People who button mash have a better chance of winning in Tekken than other fighting games. Maybe MVC2 though (I saw a four year old do hyper combos with Hulk, Sentinel, and Spider-Man and do some damage to a human opponent who appeared to know what he was doing). With three button presses that can do a shytload of damage, you don't really need to know what you're doing to win.

Nah, at least at PS1-2 times Dead or alive was far worse than Tekken regarding that, but maybe it changed, I havenīt played either one since DOA2 and TTT

IMO button mashing is never good for Tekken games, there's to many moves that require 2-3 bottons just to pull them off. It does how ever work for street fighter games.

Does not. Not the most recent one, anyway. I got my butt handed to me by my friends because those combos are ridiculously difficult to pull off.

^Every Street Fighter is that way so it's not just the new one. Those combos will kill you if you're a newb.

I'll be honest, for the most part I don't much like SF3 for various reasons. Either way what you said is incorrect. Just look at my sig and it will prove it to you that it's not enough. Gotta learn how to parry, yo.

I like third strike (idk about new generation and second impact) and I was joking
