Alright, alright. We deturmined that I fucked up already. Sheesh...

Yes. Xenosaga is great. If you ever get the chance to play gears though, take it. Its Xenosaga part V (kind of did a starwars thing). I played saga I, then gears, then I again, then II. When you go from gears to I, there are things in part I that make you just say "oh hell". Its fun.

Anyway, how about props for Dune II, father of the RTS. Don't think I've see that one yet.

If you saw Dune II, you may even think it was an early command and conquir, as it was made by Westwood before they came out with the C&C series (I think the game after Dune II was C&C actually). You build stuff, produce units, and mine spice for resources.

Umm... no. And Dune is a book first. Neither of the movies really live up to 'Science Fiction's Supreme Masterpiece'. The story is sort of about a guy that is becoming a god (damn near, he is still mortal). The game (Dune II) is just like C&C or Starcraft. It doesn't really follow the books or movies. You get to be either the Harkonens, Atrides, or Ixians. You Build structures, produce armies, and mine spice while in compition with the other houses. Your goal is to control all of Dune, thus controling the flow of the spice, which is vital to the universe at this point.

Ya click, command a unit, highlight a bunch of units and have them attack, while your building a few spice silos. You know the score.

    DUDE! NO!
I said it was pre-C&C. Its the origonal concept for RTS. Its for DOS (and thats not a bad thing, all of you get off me).
    ........
    ..............
Or did you mean new towards the Dune series. If thats the case, I would still say no. Its kind of a 'What if' senario. I think it was something like 'The Emporor Shadam (or whatever his name was) has decreed that the house that can produce the most revinue of spice will be the next house to control Dune.' And then you start to battle.

Here. This is a good site and a good description...
