Thread: F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin

So did anyone else try the demo yet? Just bought my self a new computer, and saw that the fear 2 demo was out so what better way to try the computer out then kicking some wierd looking armored soldiers?? btw wtf is up with that? They look like a mix of them Brotherhood Of Steel dudes from fallout 3, master chief from halo and Jason from Friday the 13th movie. The big ass robot thingie you "drove" at the end was amazing. Loved the sound when it was moving haha, the sound in general in fear 2 is great and the graphics look nice, and uh what else? The cover system, very cool flip a table over and take cover behind it. I like how they tried to do something new with the cover system and not just copy from Gears (yeah I know Gears was not the first game to use it. Don't hold it against me).

First F.E.A.R. was pretty good. Expansions were bad and lost interest in playing any other F.E.A.R. game since then.

Does anyone else feel that F.E.A.R. 2's HUD is fairly invasive? D:

This is a horror game, I don't want any fancy boxes and icons highlighting points of interest.

I played the demo and liked it. I may consider buying it, after i get some rpgs.

I know thats kinda stupid, specially when you can see through a wall and into the next room. It kinda destroys the need for exploring, specially when you got Alma on your ass and you see through a wall that theres a med pack.

But other then that the game is really good. I played the demo loved it, now im playing the full game and I just reached the elementary school level that you play in the demo, and im really enjoying it.

finished the game recently. Gameplay was somewhat "toned down" compared to the first, graphics is fine but could have been better, but the eding kinda surprised me lol WT[b]F/b]

so the ending was good?
