Thread: tryin to decide

I'm trying to decide whether to get wow or ffx-1...which one do yall think would be better? ive played wow and i think its really good, but i dont know about ffx-1...any insight on whats good about ffx-1?

FFXI is crazy. HUGE places. Plus its more of a social game per se than WoW. =\ But you should just try finding someone who's playing it in your area. There are bound to be tons.

So 1cor1313 have you played FFXI, i have not play this installment of final fantasy as online console gaming is not of popular in my country. and they did not release it here neither.
i heard that it was a flop e.i FFXI.

it's for the PC too silly. The PS2 version was a flop. Honestly... It doesn't make much sense for a text based MMORPG with chat and stuff to NOT have a keyboard. Plus no one is going to shell out that much money for the extra harddrive and the keyboard attachment just to play one fucking game.

The PC version is doing quite well actually. Your PC needs to be on the high end i think. But it's so damn pretty and huge i think it's worth it. =\

Erm.. panda do you mean FFXI as in FF11 or FFX-1 as in FFX (10 the first).?

there is no FFX-1. Although FFX can technically be considered FFX-1, no one calls it that.

tell me then, who calles FFXI FFX-1 ??

no one either. but FFXI is the logical choice since the other choice is an MMORPG.
