Awesome amirite? xD
Why, with this and the announcement of the old GC games being re-released as Wii games, Nintendo has a one two KO. Watch out, Sony, MS, Nintendo is where the real games are at.

Unfortunately, there still hasn't been a decent FPS game released on any of the Nintendo consoles. Most of the games just seem to be party games (i.e. SSB), without much of a plot (yes, I like plot in my games).
I'm kinda torn between getting a DSi and a PSP 3000 for my commutes though. Any suggestions, /st/?

Seriously though, Metroid on the GC wasn't bad.

I have a DS and its great. The new one is nice but ...eeeeehhhh... unless theres something truly amazing on it I see no reason to upgrade. I was gonna get a PSP too for all the TSRPGs and Agito but you can get them on PS3 so wtf?
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

1) The GC didn't ever sell that well, so a large consumer base (that DO own Wii's) never got around to playing the few gems that were on the Gamecube. So now Nintendo can sell its few good GC games to the vast Wii user base who (quite reasonably) did not get GCs because most of the games weren't that great.
2) Nintendo systems even more than other gaming systems are always dealing with new users. The Gamecube was released in 9/2001, it is 9/2008 now. That is 7 years. A kids who were 1-4 when the GC came out (and very probably not playing video games at that age range) are now 8-11, and quite possibly own Wii's.
It is also lot easier to download something from the Virtual Console, than going out finding some used GC then finding the appropriate used games for it.
This is also why companies like Square Enix can get away with so many re-releases for the DS and such.
Nintendo made a totally reasonable and smart business move especially since the Wii has such a HUGE base. So honestly vphamv/Jyuu I don't really understand why you guys are flailing your sarcasm sticks.
As for the DSi.... =_= thats kinda fail but I have no doubt that at the very least Japanese school girls are gonna inhale that stuff like no other. So again a good business move for certain demographics.
omg, cell phone cameras on my DS ? i'm so in !
.... nah, i'm pretty satisfied with my DS right now (hundreds of hours of fun), and a small new gimmick isn't gonna make me switch. on the other hand, i want to get myself a DSTT to hold more games.
