Wow, i'm shocked there's no thread on this yet.
looks. fucking. amazing.
and yes, i'm going to buy this game....probably pretty much on day 1.
sad i know, but i can't wait.
I'm not gonna lie I've been thinking about it, but the whole online thing still got me on the fence about it. Though hopefully my narutard little brother might be able to convince someone else to get it for him when it's his birthday. xD
I played the Naruto game on the PSP. It sucked.
Aren't there...better fighting games on the PS3? Why Naruto?

I've found that in Naruto fighting games, the move set is severely limited. Blocking and countering barely matter. Your special attack bar charge up every time you successfully hit your opponent, and then you can unleash an unblockable special. Plus, the range attacks are a joke, they barely do any damage. Each match lasted...around 2-3 minutes, which imo is waaaay too long in a fighting game.
1. If i remember correctly your opinion does not count.
2. I'm just kidding, it does.
3. I lied, it doesn't.
4. Can't really set a time frame of how long a fight should last. All depends on the players.
Well, when I first started playing it I thought, wow, this game's pretty fast paced (which is good). BUT when I tried my first attack, it barely did any damage. As did all my subsequent attacks. Even my "special attack" failed to take off even 1/4 of my opponents health.
I dunno, to me, the gameplay videos look kinda campy, but I'm kinda biased here so...yea. Graphics seem a bit aged for a next-gen console game.
It looks almost the same as the Narutimate Hero game on Xbox 360 with some new special effects. It even has the same combos and animations.
Looks pretty much like all dragonball games do. Especially the fighting part.
I know what you're saying about the pacing when I was playing Soul Calibur it felt like certain attacks do a little too much damage and it goes to fast.

I liked some of the gamecube naruto games. The PS2 games were ok. Haven't played the 360 or Wii ones so I don't know what this one is gonna be like.
