Lol, I wanted to create a thread for this game too, since I heard and saw the first news of it. It looks really awesome and I definitley will take a look for it when the PS3 version comes out.
But Steal is right too, there wasn't any good EA game in years. I think Dead Space is engineered by some russian company and EA is just the publisher and won't (hopefully) spoil to much.
Reminds a bit of Event Horizon movie...

Well, if the game comes out high-quality like seen in the trailers, guess it will be a major hit and a new name rises after all those sequels this year...

Interesting weapon ideas. Seems you can use Bioshock like abilities, too.

Will keep an eye on that one, could be great if it keeps to be like in the trailer.

So dismembering is a part of the strategic gameplay? Love this game already...

The mood of the game is to die for, I love games with a dark feel to it. And Yeah, the strategic dismembering is a pretty cool add to the game^ Heck, in other games it was just fun to do, now you are foced to do it^

But this gaming unites a few very good game atmospheres like Doom and Biohazard.
I saw other trailers of this game and it seems the story is told in a comic book way.
