So there you go. Any thoughts? It might be insanely cool or it might suck horribly. Or you might not like Nintendo at all anyway (Then what are you doing reading a nintendo topic 0__o). But please, express your apathy elsewhere. If you can manage it.

Both Nintendo and Sony have been very good about testing the feel of controlers and such when it comes to their systems (reason why I was not surprised at Sony's bomerange controler for PS3, handles are two small is the most common complaint I see for them), so I don't really have any doubts that this will work fine.

The only thing I wonder about is the fact that the revolution is supposed to be an emulator for all the previous systems (or did that idea get shitcanned). For the new gamer, I'm sure there would be no problem. But if I got one of these (big damn if too), I don't think I could handle playing my beloved MegaMan X on a remote looking thing.

Something else just crossed my mind. If the emulator part of the revolution is still a go, what about games that have been moved away from Nintendo? What I'm thinking about in particular is Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64. Conker Live and Reloaded for the M$ X(die)Box is just an updated version of that game with a new multiplayer. Could Nintendo sell that? Also, I wonder if they would give a price break if you allready owned the game for the orrigonal system?

Anyone ever see answers to these screwed up musings of mine?

Yes, REV does. Hell, Nintendo opened an anime/manga/movie division last year.

I will buy this new console before PS3 and XBOX 360 just for niche games.

My first good thought about this controller is that, if I got the system, I could pick up somehting like Time Crisis without having to get a light gun, as that was the reason I never got it for PS2.
I told him once or twice; to stop playin' cards, and shootin' dice.... he's in the jailhouse now

The offer NES/SNES and N64 games. And to Thir Parties like Rare:

Youre able to turn the "remote control" 90 degree to turn it into an NES Pad, or us it as an wheel for racing games.
And there will be extensions for SNES/ normal games.
You all should watch the keynote or the trailer.

but seriously. this is just ingenious. i simply must play it. People who say that it's stupid just don't realize it's full potential. Imagine boxing games with it or even Wario ware type games and all those sims that can be done with this technology.
