About Ragnarok Online (RO) being good... It was good, a few years ago I'd say it was the best MMO that existed.
But today it's a game that's mostly dead, people just haven't realised it, people being Gravaty, the company that make's it, itself.

Just play RF Online (although it's been a year late)

It has great graphics and characters...

Though in my place the players whose rank is high is always bullying the low-rank character (You know, you're out there and trying to leveling up: when all of a sudden one of your OWN race starts going berserk and just kill you 4 fun....)

If you're into skill based pvp, go for guild wars. But you will need all chapters + add on and a lot of free time to be able to particpate in this the current stage of this game. It turned slightly into grind wars too.

Battlemaster is an online game, free of charge. Basically you create a family of three nobles, either male or female then you decide a continent and realm to place each character on and you serve that realm as a noble and will probably ascend to a higher status. The game is very fun and addictive once you get into it; Don't get put of by the complicated start, after you get through the first few days of Battlemaster and really start to interact with people and understand what's going on you'll start to enjoy it.
There are a lot of great, fun people playing battlemaster and I've been playing for more than four years. I would definitely recommend at least trying out this game for a week. Game play won't take long if you don't want it to, at the very least you can invest maybe 5-10 minutes.

Guild Wars was always about grinding. Not grinding levels, but grinding everything else.
Grinding monsters for gold and materials to buy 15k/Fissure armour, grinding elites for elite skills, grinding bosses for green weapons, etc.
I've spent hundreds of hours in Sorrow's Furnace and the Underworld farming for green weapons and ectoplasms.
