Looking forward to seeing delicious Komugi in 3D form.
Gatchaman kickass, I hope they can own Ryu.
Sigh, guess it's because of you people that 2D fightin gamez are dieing! RAWR!
Although I'm still interested in the game and highly doubt it'll come over here anyway. :/
Probably not far from the truth considering theres a chance licensing issues would prevent it.
Actually, if there’s a console port eventually (which is highly likely), it would be smart for Tatsunoko to capitalize on the popularity of Capcom with an international release, and I think that‘s precisely what‘ll happen. Think about it: This game could potentially introduce a whole new generation of gamers across the world to Tatsunoko’s backlog of properties (some of which they may even be interested in purchasing), while it‘d also get some people who’re hardcore fans of those anime properties to check out the game. The only problem I could see preventing such an arrangement is a potential issue with studios Tatsunoko's had joint efforts with in producing shows in the past. But if they‘re smart, they‘ll limit the characters to ones they exclusively own, so they wouldn‘t have to deal with another studio.

^ER...you do realize licensing fees aren't exactly cheap and with the history of capcom they really don't know how to advertise their games(Okami, God Hand, Zack&Wiki,Viewtiful Jow). It'd take a hell of a lot of promoting and the game had better be good or else it'll just tank. That's a huge loss if you consider how much they'd have to spend to license and promote the game in order to make a profit. What are they introducing that's so knew? Nothing has really been revealed yet. o_O Just because there's hardcore fans of the anime doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get huge sale numbers. Just look at the game NamcoXCapcom, sure it's not of the same genre but it would more than likely sell double or even triple of this, but who is going to pay for all that? Maybe it could get an international release(though I still doubt it), there's no definite answer that it'll be a success this early on. While there's a possibility of an international release, kiss the NA one goodbye. :/
Yes, I do realize that licensing fees aren't exactly cheap, but when I said "international release", I didn't mean a simultaneous worldwide launch or something. I'm talking about a gradual one over the course of two years or so that would allow Capcom and Tatsunoko time to assess the situation and release it in territories they believe would turn a profit after taking into consideration licensing fees and such. Does that make sense?

^Yeah, I know but I guess it's just a feeling I've got. Sure I'd hope it'd at least make an international release but we'll just have to see. At least I'm sort of sure there's probably going be an international release for the arcades.
