Theres no GT5 thread. WTF. Anyway I was searching for the car list and this site has a semi-official list of over TEN THOUSAND cars. I think its bullshit but I have no proof other than my incredulity.

The Lancer Evolution 10 sucks major butt. They should have stayed with the 9 concept.

Do you notice a big difference when driving cars in gt? I mean what on earth are you supposed to do with 10k cars, other than show them off to your friends, or collect the ones you like.

Played the Japanese Prologue.

Other than the usual updates (graphics, etc), it really depends on which mode you play under, on anything other than Professional, handles a lot like GT4, I didn't spend much time on it, on Professional, however, it's a brand new game, it's very hard, but still fun, it's just hard hard hard, on some cars, you get on the accelerator too hard after a turn, spin out, let go of the accelerator during a turn, spin out.

I can't comment on how realistic the cars are, since I don't own any of the cars included in Prologue. AI is better, good, but not great.

I doubt it'll have 10 000 cars, I remember GT4 claims to have 700, but they counted variations and colours as a separate car. I remember GT5 getting delayed because they wanted to render interiors...

Just seen an advert for prologue on TV. Damn that looks stunning.

But as for the list, It might be 10k unique cars with no colors included... but I'm sure 8000 will be novelty to have, 1900 will be mediocres underdogs, and about 100 will be the most used as they are the best

Wasn't this the one where it comes with no cars by default, and you had for pay a small fee for each car you downloaded? If so, that would explain the reason why Sony decided to include so many cars this time.

If I remember correctly, it releases with 50 cars and something like 5 tracks. After that it's up to how much you're willing to pay to get the rest.

I'm still conflicted about the idea of releasing a prologue as a full game.

I heard the Online sucks balls. I'm kinda sad now.
