Couple of terrible levels and a coin-op style boss, but it is a good game nonetheless.

It's not exactly shitty, just not that good either. If you can get over how amazing the graphics are (provided you can get everything on at least high) then the game ceases to be all that pleasing.

Some parts are just plain annoying though (0 grav parts) while others are just typical FPS play. It's pretty hard to put your powers to good use as well, they made it look so cool but in reality it isn't that useful. Feels gimmicky.

The powers aren't gimmicky at all. They really change the way you progress through the game.

Play on the hardest difficulty setting and come back when you've experienced Crysis at its best.

Suppose, but I don't think I could deal with some of the more annoying sections on the hardest setting, the 0 grav parts would drive me crazy...again. I can't help but feel it's gimmicky, few other things annoyed me greatly as well.

I mean, It's a good play through the first time around, but I honestly don't think I could go back and play it more. It may have been just bad timing, but CoD4 coming out around the same time sure made me not want to play it much more. I could have given Crysis more of a chance, and I suppose I will if I ever get unaddicted to CoD4...

CoD4's just a train ride. Way too linear.

It is, but that doesn't mean that the single player is bad. It has a better story, cinematics and overall flow than Crysis, sure a few things in Crysis had me at the same level of awe as CoD4 but CoD4 never did stop being amazingly entertaining.

Multiplayer is another thing altogether as well.
