Thread: Disgaea 2

Yeah its a year old but the Disgaea 3 thread got me thinkin, since so many people here are looking forward to the next one, what'd they do in the last one.

Anyway I just hit 300 hours a day ago, got Adell to lvl 1620-something, got a Space Knight weilding a rare Excalibur (Still cant find a legendary one that I'm strong enough to steal! FUCK!!!) thats my workhorse... pulling ~270,000 damage with Dimension Slash on just about anyone. I recently got my Accelerator to Lvl 50 so now Adell is pushin 160,000 Attack and 120,000 Speed and with Big Bang I can (with luck) hit a half million damage if they're weak to fire. Rising Dragon nets me about 200k damage (much to my chagrin). I recently got myself an Iron Maiden and hooked her up with a legendary Beam Axe (lvl 50, w/ ~17,000 Atk) so she's kicking some serious ass (lvl 600 and already doing 200k damage with Calamity Drive) and I'm currently knee deep in a legendary Satan's Motor because I finally wanna get around to training a monster so I ran and got myself a Dreadnaught and he's pretty damn cool. Bah. I need to stop fucking around and go do Cave of Ordeals 5 and steal that legendary Arcadia from that Zombie King. I wonder if Adell is at a high enough level to do it... my thief is only on lvl 930 something.


And at this rate I'll be finished with college by the time I get around to pounding Zetta's face in.


BTW is it me or do Etna, Hanako, Tink, and Taro all SUCK?

Wow... I think I got Laharl to lv 400 or so in the first game and that took me forever. Can you get Zetta in the second one? I loved Makai kingdom (and with its rep, I wouldn't be suprised if I was the only one to on this forum).

^I believe you can only fight him....as a book.....still pretty funny.

I bought Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney because of the thread, and it rocked. Now you guys are about to make me buy Disgaea.

The most I played disgaea 2 up to was when I could do 200k with a star mage..or some other mage.

Adell is on lvl 1964 right now... doing EASILY 700,000 damage with Big Bang. I finally got Rozalin and my thief to lvl 1000 so thats cool. I really need to find the Z Pirates, Red Pirates, and Prism Pirates. From the looks of it I'll have to go back into my lvl 50 Satans Motor to find them... And my Dreadnaught was doing sooo well with that. Oh well. I need a rare version of The King as well. Working on getting me a nice powerful Lillith (Succubus) because I love that sexy little devil babe. OH!!! I fucking DESTROYED Zetta. I passed all the weakness proposals and I fucking raped him. He couldnt even do a single point of damage to Adell because his speed is so fucking high (140,000) and his defense is fucking impenetrable (135,000). Yay for lvl 50 Accelerator + Lvl 50 Infernal Armor.

Tink people like for his movement and he's able to fly right through enemies. good for item world.
Taro is pretty defensive. Takes a lot to take him down if used right.
Etna... well... she uses spears! YEAH!
Yes. Hanako sucks.

Well... they all suck... but in my opinion hanako is the worst. Then tink, then etna, and taro is fun for me to use.

I stopped playing this game about 200 hours in. You're making me want to play it all over again...

What's the relationship between La Pucelle Tactics, Makai Kingdom and Disgaea? Sequels/prequels/side-stories/spin-offs? I'm currently looking for Disgaea but not having much luck. I've seen Makai Kingdom though.
