    Default Phoenix Wright

it looks like a few thread mentioned this game, but not really any that was dedicated to it.

i just finished playing the first Phoenix Wright game on my DS, and... wow. great storyline, awesome characters, fitting music. also awesome was how they made it very suspenseful, despite the linear playing style.

so, has anyone played the rest ? is it worth putting time into ? what are general thoughts about this series ?

I finished the first and I'm now working on the last scenario of the second game. I'll probably pick up the 3rd and 4th installments when they're out here in Europe. I really like this franchise so far. Funny writing and nice music. I'm amazed at how they managed to make some courtroom events really feel like "boss battles". The feeling you get when you present that crucial piece of evidence, with the music pumping up and the witness confessing... It's awesome.

Glad that this series got brought over to the DS (and in English as well). I've completed the first 3 games and it's fairly safe to say if you like the characters and story in the first game, you'll love the rest of the series. It's really well done. Best thing about the series is you can safely import all 3 PW DS games, as they have an option to play the game in English.

Gameplay-wise, PW2 introduces the Psyche-Lock system where you present an item to a character to try and squeeze them for information that they are hiding. PW3 really didn't introduce anything new to the system, although the final case is totally worth it for fans of the series.

The 4th game (which I haven't played yet) is based around a new lawyer, and is supposed to take advantage of the touchscreen similar to the bonus case in the first PW game. Sadly, the import version doesn't have the English language option, so we'll have to wait for this one.

^yeah and apparantly that game fills in some gaps on what happened to Pheonix(the 4th one that is)

And please tell me that im not the only one who thought the last 2 cases on the first game were both kinda balls to the wall hard?
In fact I've had the hardest time on all of the last cases of the PR games.
Oh and im also on the last case of the 3rd one(if im not mistaken) and all I can say right now is WHAT A BITCH.(has yet to start the last case at the time of this reply)

Weird because I checked on gamefaqs and it said you need to have a working mic
to complete the the fingerprint testing.

I dont remember the blowing the dust off part needed the mic. I could have swore that was due to the touchscreen. Meh im nto an expert on this so I probably wouldn't know.
