    Default Vivendi X Activision?!

    WTF!

I did NOT see that coming... Activision is the 2nd largest 3rd party publisher... I wonder if this would make them number 1.

Didn't your quote say that, they will still be smaller than EA?

Imo, all EA does is recycle old stuff while adding little or nothing new. Take the NHL-series. Every year, they release a new game with new rosters and players and whatnot. But the gameplay mechanics remain basically identical throughout all of them. Meanwhile, games released by other companies are catching up. EA's days are numbered =P

EA is doing fine, they just need to keep throwing a Tournament for Madden each time one comes out and boom they'll get their quota for the year. Not that I personally enjoy Madden NFL, but there are a lot of people who do.
