Thread: What do you have in your computer?

Like what motherboard, processor, graphics/video card, power supply, or anything else.

I only have a decent dell right now, not good enough for good gaming yet.
I'm thinking of building a new gaming computer, but I really don't know what to put in it yet.

I bought a dell in summer 2004 but since then I have replaced/upgraded just about every part except the motherboard.

New power source 250W up to 500W
New graphix card 128 up to 256
Added more ram 1gb up to 2 gb
Added second hard drive. Total space from 80gb up to 400gb
New monitor...

I am an AGP holdout for the moment because my motherboard doesnt do PCI-E. The card I would reccomend for AGP users is the nVidia geforce 7600GT 256mb.

If you wanna upgrade your dell then Im the one to talk to. PM me if you want.

If you are building an entirely new system then some of these other techs know better then me. I havent been keeping up with cutting edge technology.
