before I get bashed, i have a disclaimer to make. I'm usually very picky about games I play and I wont even touch a game that hasn't received high ratings from several sources (yes i'm a tool). So my standards for comparison are pretty high.
In addition I was a nintendo kid, as such I never had a PS1 and thus i never played the original game when it came out, so I have no nostalgia associated with the game either.
AND I played this game on a modern computer (with Windows XP) which made the game glitchy as hell since it doesnt work well with newer stuff.
The graphics were horrible for when I played it (they don't age well, unlike classic 2-D hames), the story line seemed horribly cheesy (although i will admit for the most part it was not cliché and the controls for PC were heinous.
In addition while I was playing I just couldn't get connected to the story. Like when Aeris died, It like... oh... big deal? Didn't have much of a role anyway. Not to mention it was kinda hard to tell what even happened.
so ya. worst game ive played FFVII
(I tried playing with the custom remodeled sprites too that are available some where online.. so the characters didnt look as bad... still sucked).
Year ago I dusted off my FFVII Cds and tried playing on my ps2, I got to tell 10minutes after I went.. wow! the graphics are horrible..
And well they are crude!
Its just that we have so much good stuff, it get thrown down to the end of the barrel. I didn't play they PC version, but playing without a controler just sux.
FF series is overal bad! there are alot of better rpgs there.
Anyway, to add to the topic!
DUEL MASTER - PS2
Srsly! Who the hell like that piece of garbage, I thrown my friends cds out of the window! Yea thats how bad it is, make you destroy other people property!
Confusing, slow, bad and stupid!
I played because I thought would be something like "Magic the gathering" (although the computer game is also bad, nothing beats the real cards and nerdy screaming)
"Chile is a thin and tall country"
Hmm, the worst game ever, that I've played...Has to be E.T. the game >_>'
one of the worst games I still remember (my memory tries to forget those horrible games) is holy magic century for the Nintendo 64, what a waste of money that was <_<
Flyer than a piece of paper bearing my name,
The Private Potion, don't drink it!!!
One of those UMD whatchamacallits for the PSP. The whole thing was like one giant crappy cutscene! You didn't get to do anything!
I pretty much hate all action games. Especially the ones where you HAVE TO destroy all enemies to move to another location.
I hope Jyuu is right about Betrayal at Krondor cause I'd buy it or download it.

Worst game ever eh? Well....next to Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hide for the NES (the one that the Angry Video Game Nerd reviewed) that I just had to try, the worst game I have ever played was...........(drum roll please)............Quest 64, for none other than the Nintendo 64. That game was the biggest piece of shit I have ever seen. "But Shinobi, it was on the Nintendo 64, of course it is no good compared to games these days" No. It was the shittiest game I ever played back then, and it remains the shittiest game I ever played now. You might also say, "Well you were younger, you may not have understood back then, try playing it now." Nope. Tried that, the game is still a waste of my life.
