Ok, I'm far from an expert, but that seems like a very nice PC for $1150
Any of you experts care to say if it's a good purchase? As far as i know it is good <.<
I've noticed that the prices in my country are far cheaper in this matter, that processor is like $250-$300 in here, and i've seen it in european websites at like 600 euros...

Reason: Forgot some specs
The video card in that computer is pretty crap, won't play new games unless they're set to low settings.
The sound card is just an AC97 audio decoder, which will provide inferior sound quality, and actually uses your CPU resources instead of it's own audio processing unit.
Shit PSU and bad video card FTL.
Then fuck that, i'll just get a good one when i can spare the cash. IF that ever happens.
Why don't you just get the part's piece by piece, as you can? Much better in the long run, methinks.

On a different matter, should I consider getting a 7900gt (I think), since I'm still running on AGP, or should I just wait patiently for a dual core. I hope the prices go down after the ninth generation of the nvidia cards come out.
AGP is dead, don't spend anything on that.

If you're going to get a new motherboard and CPU, you'll need to get new RAM and a new video card to go with it, as your current ones won't be compatible with it. That's pretty much an entire new PC.
