Just get a desktop keyboard and hook it up. It's what I do.

Then again, at roughly 280 post-rebate, it's okay.

I don't need to know the details on the hardware specifications of your new laptop to laugh.
Unless you buy the most expensive custom-made notebook PC out there, Starcraft II won't look as good as how you should be enjoying it because after almost ten years, you do want Stacraft's sequel to look amazing.

Eh... that's true. Wish we could hook video cards up to computers like enclosure HDs.

Yeah, for the premium you have to spend to get it in a small(ish) size, and the natural premium that laptops always have. Besides, having 2 VGA cards, no matter how they set it up, will make it heavy, bulky, and very hot. It makes much more sense just to make a desktop if that is what you are trying to do.

To put it another way, you don't put a rocket engine on a Mini Cooper, you put it on a plane.

I'm not disagreeing that it can be done, or even done well, I am wondering why anyone would want it done.

I'm still using a 6600gt on my desktop..

the only laptop that is equipped with dual nvidia go 7950 GTX I could find is the overpriced Alienware M9750. That thing costs over 3k with all the necessity for gaming.

I was going to buy it, but I came to my senses and decided to custom build the desktop instead and save two thousands bucks...

with those options, you might have to spend over 4k. I'm talking about M9750.

Well, I don't know a lot about computers, for sure, but I know enough to not totally screw myself. On top of that, my friends are kinda softcore techies. On top of that, there's always praying to God for help. On top of that, there's Jyuu.

Either way, I'd get it right eventually.
