Thread: upcoming mmorpgs..

ok, I have played "Lineage2 (haven't seem any other game as beautiful looking as this one.)", "city of villains", "Archlord", "eve", "Ragnarok online", "WOW (not that great as people think and graphics suck)". and now I'm looking for a new game that can steal what ever life I have left, and wanted to know which game you guys think is the best one for doing this.

the ones that look hot are: Tabula Rasa, WarHammer, Age of Conan.

Tabula Rasa comes out next month and was thinking on getting it, but i still not so sure about it..

tell me what game might be the best.

World of Warcraft.

The graphics only suck for WOW so that people don't have to be using stuff like SLI'd 8800GTX 768mb cards to play... this way it's just if they want to.

WoW has better art than most other games out there. The variety and style are unmatched.
I am a total graphics whore, but I think WoW looks fantastic.

If you think graphics are all about HDR, motion blur, antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, bump mapping and other crap like that, you have a pathetic way of thinking.

tales of pirate/pirate king online.. its a mix of silk road and ragnarok online with a little bit of MU online..

As a person who will not play MMO's for two reasons(I can't trust 99% of everyone else not to be retards, and I hate paying every month for a game I already payed for once), are there any MMO's that you pay for once, just once, and the online portion is free(please, no one mention those quaint freeware games that are floating around)?

there are MMO (mainly corean ?) for which you only have to pay for the game and extensions, but in the end it's the same : you end paying for extensions instead of paying a fee each month (unless you don't get the extensions, but then you are penalized).
