Yes, but in the end guild wars fall into CoH/CoV category of Casual MMOS.
Because Guild wars.. well its all about pvp, nothing else..
Its funny how I got beta keys for all thoses, you also forgot to add AION: Tower of eternety.
But thoses latests mmos, Aion, Tabula Rasa, Age of Connan, all need Next Gen Computers. (Jyuu's computer or better not mine^^
Tabula rasa: reminded me of a mix of Anarch online with cabal online.
Anarch online because of the setting and such Sci-fi and such, and cabal because of the combo, battle system.
Age of Connan, reminded me of Guild wars on the first levels as its almost a single player experience, of you doing missions and quests until about lv 20. the PVP seems promissing too.
Warhammer online: Got to talk to my friend he is in the beta.
Aion: Next gen WoW.. yea, it is that good. There are two factions(one vs the other vs the monsters) and alot of new things, like weather affect your spells for example, and you can fly too.
Now theses like I said, need a new computer, if you don't have don't think you can run on low resolution.
Perfect World: Its the Korean WOW. There are about 40million users between china/japan/philipines/malasia
I'm alpha testing it, got to say its good. Don't require a next gen computer for low resolutions and the game still looks good on them, high is another story, game looks awesome.. but well good computer is needed.
The character customization tops off Cith of Heroes/Villain. There is alot of content on the game, you do have 3 races, but isn't race vs race, so you can party with them and such.
But there is duels and GvG. That reminds of L2 Castle system.
You conquer a piece of land, everything is taxed as you wish.. but other guild might want to get that land for them.. so war breaks out.
There is also a Housing system, its closed on the beta I'm playing but should be almost like SWG one, its on the physical world, and anyone can walk in if you want.
Still good mmos
WoW: Still there, lots of people playing, but of course has some cons. remember lv 70 is another game! So get there before giving up.
CoV/CoH: Casual mmo.. if you don't have time but want to play something online, whenever you wish. With an awesome character personalization.
Guild Wars: Casual, but very focused on the PVP and GvG. No monthly fee.
