but im really looking forward to it
but im really looking forward to it
Flyer than a piece of paper bearing my name,
The Private Potion, don't drink it!!!
That rumor is new or well....brought up again. Like i said, look at the date of the page or think about this, it's Kaz Harai. ....still i want a xenogears.
I never played FF VII so if they are going to make a re-make, I might buy it...
My penfriend in Japan confirmed to me that Square Enix was supposed to have denied the re-make of FF VII after the intro in E3.
However - and this is also what I believe - after many fans seemed to wish for a remake they mentioned that they would finish Final Fantasy XII first and then, while FFXIII was in production a separate team was to remake FFVII - for PS 3 of course.
If they actually will do this, I'll definitly buy it. I already played it through three times when I borrowed it along with a ps1 from a friend many years ago.
Sadly FFVII has become a rarity and expensive.
Also I don't want to play the german version any longer >< I still dislike the translation.
And think about it like this: All the guys and ladies in the new graphics instead of the... well ... chibis ;P
There are supposed to be some new features, but I definitly hope they won't change the story line. I guess I'm the only one that liked the fact that Aeris died as I consider it important to plot and character development. (The fact that I wasn't to fond of her even back then might be reason for it as well)
Also I dislike the "and they lived happily after"-thing most RPGs have going. Alone her death changed my view on the games
I remember reading an interview in which Kitase said that if they ever made a remake they add new features to gameplay, like for example, if you change Cloud's bangle or sword, Cloud's attire will change to show it. Like when you change your equipment in Diablo.
Nomura, in another interview, said that Aerith's death was an important part of the plot, and that it wouldn't be changed. Besides, with AC, and her own novel (which took place right after her death) out, they won't change that.
Having 100%'d FFVII on my original box copy for the PC, I really do hope that a remake with graphical and audio overhaul becomes a reality. It would most definitely sell and sell all over.
I really doubt it's a rm version of ff7.
as far as i understand the trailer about ff7 on ps3 was just to show of the capabilitys of the ps3... it's never been officially announced that theyre gonna remake ff7 for ps3
If there ever comes a FF VII remake with better graphics I'll cry my eyes out for them ruening an old classic.
It would be the same as watching the Original halloween movie, or the godfather on a DVD with perfect video and audio. (An example for a moive not to be watched in DVD quality: The Terminator, as you can see the line between makeup and face when arnold starts cutting away at his eye).
Remaking FF VII with better graphics will just destroy is, as we have to remember that this was a game that was delayed due to the graphics it was running was to extream for it's own time.
Second, are you high? Those two are not comparable. You seem to be talking about a port. A remake is not a port, they won't have the same graphics.
Let me put this simpler: They. Will. Completely. Re. Do. The. Graphics.(.The. Pretty. Things. You. See. ). And. Sound. If. They. Do. A. Remake.. Re. Make. ,. As. In. Do. All. Over. Again. From. Scratch. Clear? There won't be any problems with things not looking right in greater detail, as the things will be completely remade to fit those higher graphical capabilities.
A port is just when they translate the game into a different medium. In a Remake, they would have PS3 level graphics. That said, I doubt they will remake FF VII anytime soon. Hope they will, but I wouldn't count on it.
