Thread: Metroid Prime 3 any good?

well I have a wii,(no pun intended) and I have like only Zelda and paper mario for it so I might get Metroid Prime 3, wondering if Metroid Prime 3 is any good

metroid prime 3 is very good, but I'm going to rent it first because I suck at metroid games <.<

plus, I would have to play mario strikers charged for a while anyway, should be getting it in the mail tomorrow.

It's apparently very very good, according to reviews and impressions.

Personally I prefer the old 2D Metroid games over the new 3D ones. I honestly didn't think it was all that great, only played it for 2 hours though so I guess thats not enough to really say about the whole game. I don't plan on buying it, I'm just going to borrow it once my friend finishes it.

Anyway, I didn't like the way the controls felt, there's 3 different sensitivity settings, but none were really to my liking, it was either too slow or too fast for me. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was an 7.5-8/10, but that's just from playing 2 hours of it. Plus I never really liked it being a fps in the first place, and the only time I did was when I played Metroid DS because it had multi player, but they didn't include it so meh. >_>

I don't think 2 hours is gonna cut it. I mean its always awkward for me to play a game the first time around especially something unique as the Wii. I think Metroid 3 is one of the best games that utilize the wii controls I mean its pretty damn close to what nintendo intended for the controls and I'm sure it can be way better but as of now its pretty good.

I'd like to play it sometime. Tbh though, the only 3D Metroid game I liked was Metroid Prime, and man did I like that game. Still do in fact, think it's one of the best GCN games out there. MP2 was very boring though, and I didn't even bother playing the one on the DS, despite the fact that I have 2 copies of it (siblings bought 2 for multiplay purposes).

Anyway, whatever MP3 is like, I sure hope it's better than 2.
