    Default World of Warcraft

Anyone playing the "game of the years" on official servers?
Post your characters, what you are doing in the game, some gear you are proud of having, etc.

I'm busy playing on my 70 combat rogue (1-70 under two months =D) and currently farming for Aldor rep for the Vindicator's Brand and will have Mongoose on that thing. After that I'll probably either farm for some Clefthoof leather and Primal Nethers to make some armor kits to sell to get myself a nice Felsteel Longblade.
Then maybe a nice Netherwing Drake. =D
Oh and I'm still trying to get my hands on the Shoulderpads of Assassination because I'm still using a 67 green. >.>

I'm working on my Aldor reputation, just a couple more I'm exalted.
Finished at least my Spellstriker pants completing the set. I still need to work on some other stuff, weapon/off hand

Good thing most of my equip I made it myself.. (Full spellfire)

I should finish netherwing reputation soon.

And I swear, I'm tired of BM (Blade's edge montain) thoses Razaani Spell-Thief ***ers don't drop my Enchant (major spellpower)!

Ow yea, 70 Be Mage, exodar.

Although I got a 70mage human on Archimonde.
    62 Toll mage on warsong.

    (yea I love mages =p)

Some friends started just now and are at Lightninghoof.. I'm wondering if I transfer my mage to there, from archimonde

Isn't Scryer better for your type?

I'm so sick and tired of my Tawny Windrider. I'm used to my Netherdrake on my main (70 nelf hunter with full gladiator's).

Yes it is better, but I ultimately choose ardor, simply because all of my friends are Scryers..

So I supply them with aldor stuff, and they with scryer (I really need thoses spell damage threads)

And I make a good amount of money with aldor threads, priests/druids/shammys love them.

I'm glad I got my Swift Purple already. (Selling threads and primals mainly)
As much as ugly the Nether ray is.. its really unique.
I was wondering if I should get one or not.

Ow, Pvp set..I so have little time for that now, so many points. But I'm almost getting my High Warlord tunic, because its cool as hell!!

But if Kael'thas stoped being a cheap bastard and droped my T5 already, I'd be happy!!
Next piece is mine, since all stupid hunters(no offence, I just suck at rolls) got theirs already.

    Pft, puny honor point gears.
They really suck compared to arena gear.

Its like I'm reading a conversation in another language.

I quit after level ten, I didn't see the point in sinking my time into a game with no plot or progression, and while I appreciate the social aspect, I'm not big on forming random parties. WOW is a nice idea (huge persistant world with lots of things to do), but its just not for me.

I see a good plot progression till end game, but thats when things get complicated.

If you started the game today, the progression would be totaly diferent from someone that started 4 years ago.

You have all thoses quests, zones and stuff to do until you hit the level cap (70 atm)
But when you do, you get to the point that all you after now is, equipment..

So you get your friends, do the "Instance" a couple thousand times.. get everything you want. And keep doing it..

You could also use your time for the arena battles/battlegrounds.
But that usualy means you give up on PVE (Killing monsters) Because you basicaly needs to re-spec. (Since you got to lv 10, you should've seen talents points)
And things get really expensive, to keep changing every single time.

Wow can be fun at times. Its just I think new players will not experience everything.
You don't do MC, Naxx, UBRS anymore..

And on time sinking.. seems intense, but you don't really need to waste alot of time, you use most of your time leveling to 70.

Not only that, but now you don't even have to do Silithus and the Argent Dawn parts, which is sad because Silithus is a tough area and the Plaguelands are an essential part of the Warcraft lore. Scholomance, Stratholme, etc are key locations in Warcraft and yet they are useless.
You can just go to Hellfire Peninsula at 57, grind your way to 58 and start doing the quests there to get green quests rewards that are often superior to the Azerothian 60 blues.

I stopped playing for a while and have yet to get the expansion. Mostly because I changed servers, I am now leveling a 37 night elf shadow priest, and a 20 gnome assassination rogue. I miss my 50 undead warrior and wall of the dead. I think the worst part is being without a mount after having one for so long. :'(

Once you get a Netherwing Drake, you can't even go back to an epic ground mount.

Yeah, even if you have a Riding Crop with a Carrot on a Stick with Crusader Aura.
