As for the SideWinder, sure it's hideous, but I don't think it looks that ergonomically bad. Those are buttons on the side to use with your thumb, right? That makes more sense to me than having it just hang there, and the shape looks comfortable (flat mice suck). I'm wondering about those buttons on top beneath the wheel, though. Those don't seem like they would be easy to reach in a hurry...

There are MUCH better mice on offer, which are both more aesthetically pleasing AND more ergonomic. Buttons on the side of a mouse are pretty much standard these days too.

MS mouse looks dangerous, I think you can kill someone IRL with it.

No it's not the same then.
If yours is blue, then it's the MX510 at 800dpi whereas the MX518 is 1600dpi.
Big difference there.

Mine is blue, because I liked the blue thing and because I'm evil, I had already opened my MX510 to take off the weight (That btw is so much better)

Was easy, pop here there. And put on the 518.

Why did change the mouse shells? Because the 518 originaly was my SISTER's!
I bought the 510 for me, then she bought the 518.. I couldn't let 1600dpi go to waste could I (that I don't use that offen.. most of the time its on 800dpi)
