Thread: Any1 ever play Red Ninja?

heard of it? played it?
i was wondering if i should rent it or not.
dont wanna waste money on a bad game.

I almost got it because of the massive clevage~

But I've heard some (lots) of negative comments on it..
Camera is FUBAR
Weak Story
Dull combat.


So All I have to say is what I taken straight from GameSpot;

Red Ninja: End of Honor ultimately fails to achieve what even the most boilerplate of ninja action games have managed to achieve in recent years. It simply takes all the most obnoxious mechanical failings of the games that have preceded it and packages them with characters and a story that are extremely difficult to get attached to. Even for those diehard ninja fans out there, Red Ninja is probably not a game that's worth your time or money.

My thoughts?? I'm a fan of weird games.. I might buy even it sux Just because I find she's hot in a cute kimono..

The main character is hot and her trademark weapon is kinda cool, but thats about its only merits. Its a nice concept, but poorly made.

I was thinkin about buyin this game for the simple fact that the character is cute and its only ten bucks. I thought it looked fun.

Heck, if you have money to waste, shoot. I mean it, shoot the game. It deserves it.

The game is appalling. See if a game store will allow you to test the game first.

Well Tet had a point. I was thinkin if its so damn cheap, get it, but if you think its so crappy, I'm inclined to agree with you... Hold on, I'm actin like I'm the one who started the thread. haha

I don't know firsthand if its crappy (tet seems to have played it) so I wont judge, I just read the review on Gamespot and eh. If its 10 bucks and you want it go for it. Just know that the concept art is undoubtedly cooler.

I had the game but I didn't get very far before I got sick of the camera and bored of the game. I traded it in after a couple of days, I didn't even clock up 4 hours on the game.

The wire weapon is fun to use but kind of limited, it doesn't help that the controls are awkward.

I still have the game. Not that I have completed it, or played it since the few days after I got it.
All for the same reasons 98 posted above.
