I wish this would get ported to PS3...

There have been rumours about a PS3 version, but nothing official. Hold your thumbs!

I guess you are a bad listener then. But that doesn't matter since there probably won't be a PS3 version, but there is always a chance.

I just played the PC demo. It's got an annoying thing in the menus where unless you're moving your mouse faster than some minimum speed, the mouse cursor won't move (I'm guessing its something left over from the Xbox 360 version to stop the player's view from wandering around from even the slightest of touches on the control stick). Thankfully that doesn't happen when you're in the game.

So basically, the game looks almost exactly the same except for the fact that you can run it at higher resolutions on PC. The textures are a bit higher resolution than the Xbox 360 version, but unfortunately I believe they could have been a bit better considering the people with newer video cards can run this game with EASE. Given, I'm still running it in DirectX 9 mode until I re-install Vista, and DirectX 10 is supposed to give it higher resolution textures apparently, so that might be more to my liking.

Aiming is so much easier on PC, but for some reason there's a certain charm to playing it on an Xbox 360 controller (and the auto-aim actually helped make the game seem more like a creepy action/adventure first-person game rather than an FPS). I do like that the weapons/plasmids are hotkeyed though, it certainly helps towards the end of the demo. I couldn't figure out what the "walk" key is, if there is one at all. I like to creep through the game world slowly and enjoy the sights as I go.

I noticed that when I picked up the fire plasmid, I didn't get the cheeky little fire plasmid cartoon intro. I liked that in the Xbox 360 demo.

EDIT: Hmm, disappointing... the PC version doesn't support anti-aliasing even when forced through the video card driver control panel (only limited support with an nVidia card in DirectX 9 mode, no support at all with other combinations of video card/rendering method), and widescreen FOV is borked.

There supposedly isn't a walk key in the game.
Also, there are reports of DX10 killing the framerate with no noticable diference in quality.
