Lets look at this thread another way:

Halo 3 will have 4 player co-op. Discuss.

I've always liked co-op in Halo, I play with my brother and its damn good fun. Apparently (or so I read on kotaku) though, 2 player co-op will be by system link (which to me means two consoles linked together), which sucks since my brother doesn't have a 360.

Not many games have online co-op :/ If there is, it probably doesn't go over 2
