No it does not.
Some people even mentioned of it killing your ps3.. but dunno.
When I tested after the PS2 Logo, you get a pretty PINK screen..
But if you really want to cheat, at Best Buy you have a USB adaptor for memory cards for 30bucks or if you really CHEAP you can make your own.
That what you can access the save file and edit your heart out

What's actoin replay and why bother getting Tournesol?
Just go with the Zodiac Spear... or if not that, Durandal + Zodiac Escutcheon or Scorpion Tail/Golden Axe + Cat Ears + anything to boost speed or vit, forget which.
Or... you can just not use Vanh or Basch altogether.

I didn't get the spear because I'm greed fellow, that ran around opening all chests..
Question: How are you supposed to know which chests you can and can't open, without a walkthrough?
You aren't... unless you have bought the strategy guide. So in the end was a market strategy to make you buy the guide and the game
