AHAAHHAHA, not laughing at the subject, but i just think this post is funny. Like i said, i'm not laughing at the subject of mgs4 coming or not coming to 360, just i love this comment...aahhaha.Kojima, I want to give you my money, please give me an opportunity to give you my money.
but like all of the other MGS games, it probably will go the 360, just it will take a few years....so =\
I am more thrilled about Silent Hill.
They are desperate for MGS4, alright.
I just played the AC6 demo, and although MGS4 on the 360 would be awesome, I'm glad I made the right choice in getting a 360.
how is AC6? I'm more interested in the story and setting then the graphics and gameplay (which if it's more of the same, I can happily live with).
I don't know about the story (but if previous games are anything to go by, it'll probably be the standard "one country invades another, defending country manages to fight back from the last remaining air field thanks to an ace pilot, pilot goes on to lead a counter attack and conquer the attacking country". There will be at least one giant flying super weapon that you have to shoot down, at least one ground based super weapon (probably a laser) that you have to destroy, at least tunnel that you have to fly through, at least one plot twist and the ADF-01 Falken (and hopefully the wyvern).
As for the game itself, its awesome. I You start the demo and the first thing you notice is how good the airfield looks, after the opening game engine video, you start in the air and notice just how many planes are in the air (those massive dog fights you see in the trailers, thats not just for show, there really is that many planes and more). The graphics are so far improved from the previous games that its really disorientating when you first play. Although it plays exactly the same as the previous games, it feels so different, there is so much eye candy and so many things on screen (if you haven't already, and you should, get used to navigating and tracking targets by radar, you are literally surrounded by enemies so its really easy to lose track of your direction, not to mention that there are decent clouds in this game that obstruct your vision (they don't just disapear as you fly through them like in previous games, you actually genuinely fly through them). Seriously, if you have a 360 or know someone with one, you must download this demo.
It's a shame, AC6 is something I really want to play, but I won't have access to a 360 till september...
Another thing, the music so far, was it any good? Good to hear the gameplay is the same, as for the graphic boost, it certainly is nice to have, anything that makes you feel more involved is a huge plus.
As for the story (cliche's that AC have), I have to say it isn't broken so far, and the super weapons are usually interesting anyway, AC5 had the most interesting I remember... I need to play this...
After the disaster that was SH4 ... its kinda hard for me to be thrilled about it, especially since instead of Team Silent Hill it was offshore to The Collective that is "famous" for games as "The Da Vinci Code","Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure" and "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" (among others).
I think that I will pass on this (did the same with "The room" and have no regrets).
