Thread: Fatal Frame

I've been dying to play games in this series but I've been unsure about it.

Can someone tell me how good it is?

Like controls and basically what you have to do and if you would play it again after you beat it and if it'll still be fun.

Fatal frame 2 = Fuck yeah!!!!!

Fatal Frame 1 = Fuck no!!!!!!

The game was scary as all hell, but the game's plot was told almost entirely through written documents rather than any actual character interaction (cutscenes that have dialogue, I mean). Plus I got stuck on one of the later chapters and couldn't figure out where to go.

Not that the plot was any good. It's like 5 degrees of retardation. You play a schoolgirl who entered the haunted Himuro Mansion looking for her brother, who entered looking for his novelist mentor, who entered doing research for a novel by looking for the notes of a family that once lived there, who entered to do research on the ancient cultist owners of the place who are the cause of everything bad in the universe. Or something like that. I could not make that up if I tried. Matter of fact, I think I may be missing one or two groups.
