The company admitted it had been forced to make "an unacceptable number of repairs" to the consoles after key hardware failed.
Fuck M$ I love my 360 but wtf do you mean unacceptable its you fault my product was over heating and what not.

I don't hate M$. Heck I am using two of their products, but the fact that they said unacceptable while it was their fault is really unprofessional in part of the company. Your mistake so you have to deal with it.

My 360 died on me, and M$ took good care of me. They paid for shipping and they gave me a new one.

okay but they are saying it is unacceptable. Why would you say it is unacctable when it is the company's fault?

I think they're admitting that they made a mistake... it was "unacceptable" that they should have had to make that many repairs, meaning it was their fault and that's why customers are getting the extended warranty. In this article, they're saying they were wrong. No need to complain that it's their fault; they know already.

Well the Xbox720 better be damn well bulletproof. The massive failures of 360s... psht. I wonder how their fanbase feels. I've owned a dozen or so game systems and I've never had one break in a way that was not 110% my own damn fault.

The only console I've ever had break was my playstation (the old one), it had a faulty drive, you had to tilt it to get it to run.

And yeah, by "unacceptable" M$ meant that they fucked up and the number of failures (due to poor design) had reached an unnacceptable number. Every company expects a certain number of units to fail, the number of 360 failure was too far above what was predicted.

Lol, that's fine that they think it's unacceptable, but admitting that isn't gonna make 360's magically start being not-overheating hunks of awesome...
